Dr. Yost Attended the Debut Two-Day AACD Scientific Session in Knoxville,
Tennessee
November 2008 – Dr. Yost attended the American Academy of Cosmetic
Dentistry’s® (AACD) debut Two-Day AACD Scientific Session in Knoxville,
Tennessee from November 14-15, 2008. The AACD is the world’s largest
international dental organization dedicated to advancing excellence in the
art and science of cosmetic dentistry, of which Dr. Yost is an active
member.
“Contemporary cosmetic dentistry is comprehensive oral care that combines
art and science to optimally improve dental health, esthetics, and
function,” said AACD member cosmetic dentist Dr. Yost. “AACD offers multiple
ways for me to get the in-depth training necessary to provide this type of
comprehensive care to my patients.”
Yost Dental Group, PLLC is corporate sponsor for Local PKD Walk for a
Cure
September 2008 – Yost Dental Group, PLLC participated as a corporate
sponsor and as walk participants in the Nashville Walk for PKD. This
fund-raiser was held in River Park located in Brentwood, Tennessee on
September 20, 2008. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness and
financial support for research in finding a cure for Polycystic Kidney
Disease (PKD). The event was coordinated by the National PKD Foundation and
the local Nashville PKD Foundation and took place in cities throughout the
United States during the month of September. The event raised $2.87 million
nationally in the fight to find a cure for PKD. Over 600,000 Americans and
12.5 million people worldwide currently have Polycystic Kidney Disease for
which there is no cure.

Dr. Yost supports Dental Health Awareness
Dr. Yost is a regular supporter of Dental Health Awareness month and
participated this year by challenging a group of 3rd graders at Grassland
Elementary in Franklin, Tennessee to brush and floss their teeth after each
meal. He spoke to them on the importance of eating healthy foods and
reminded them to see their dentist for regular cleanings two times a year.
Dr Yost provided a new tooth brush for each student.
